Just confirmed that this also affects openvswitch.
There I find it much more obnoxious to have to add "-d 
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/librte_pmd_ixgbe.so" and such to "ovs-vsctl set 
Open_vSwitch . "other_config:dpdk-extra" to get it running.

Eventually all is "right", but I need to discuss with upstream if that
is the wanted user experience. Maybe we have to "uncorrect" some linkage
for comfort.
