Public bug reported: I find the Activities Overview very useful as especially when I have many windows open I can just easily go into it to switch between or close some. However there is something I feel is lacking there: the ability to change the minimized state of the windows.
What I would really like to see would be the ability to: 1. Differentiate between windows which are minimized and which are not 2. To be able to easily change whether a window is minimized or not as easily as with closing them I don't know about the second request, but I've definitely seen others asking for the first. I am running Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 with GNOME 3.20 and I would really love to see these features in the next GNOME version. ** Affects: gnome-shell Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: ubuntu-gnome Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - Ability to change minimized state through Activities Overview + Ability to view and change minimized state through Activities Overview ** Also affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #768633 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=768633 ** Also affects: gnome-shell via https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=768633 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1600595 Title: Ability to view and change minimized state through Activities Overview To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1600595/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
