Thanks Pilot6 (hanipouspilot) for the support. I did as you suggested
above.

dkms was already installed so I moved to install those 2 debs.

The bt deb installed with no problems.
The rtlwifi deb could not install with the software center as it told me that a
later version is already installed. So I went to terminal and installed from
there. The process began and finished but I noticed mid-way that it said that
it could not create module for kernel 3.19 but instead created for 4.20 and all
the other kernels I have previously booted.

Funny enough, after finishing the installation, I tested bluetooth
manually by toggling from settings: still no effect so I rebooted. Grub
booted me straight from 3.19 to 4.20 which I found weird since I had
been using 3.19. Anyways tested BT manually, still no change. And kernel
4.20(IDK whether it is only my setup or what) has broken wifi. So I have
gone back to a lower version kernel so I can get wifi back.

Could there be another alternative? I am out of my wits here!

Thanks again for the help Pilot6
