Roger, no unity is running there.
Maybe your compiz settings have been compromised.

If unity is correclty installed in your system, calling

gsettings set org.compiz.core:/org/compiz/profiles/unity/plugins/core/
active-plugins "['core', 'composite', 'opengl', 'compiztoolbox',
'vpswitch', 'snap', 'mousepoll', 'resize', 'place', 'move', 'wall',
'grid', 'regex', 'imgpng', 'session', 'gnomecompat', 'animation',
'fade', 'unitymtgrabhandles', 'workarounds', 'scale', 'expo', 'ezoom',
'unityshell']"

Should fix the problem.
