Does this bug affect upstream Ruby 1.9 (and/or 2.1 or 2.3)? If so, what
do upstream developers think about the correct fix for this? And which
releases of Ubuntu apart from 14.04 are affected?
Please can you also provide exact steps to reproduce from a fresh
installation of 14.04? Once done, please change the bug status back to
New. Thanks!
