I propose to close this bug, since I cannot reproduce the original problem.
First of all, the file is part of the ruby-core package: http://svn .ruby-lang.org/repos/ruby/branches/ruby_1_9_3/lib/test/unit.rb That's the file for which the package is mentioned. Secondly, to upstream I mentioned MiniTest::Unit::Runner::Worker (because of the output from the project-tested Rakefile compiled in Lubuntu) and indeed they mentioned an external package (MiniTest). This confusion is my fault (the affected file unit.rb seems to be from ruby- core and not from minitest). Bah! sorry for the mess. Anyway, today I checked out the test project mentioned at comment #1, undid the change to /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/test/unit.rb and ran rake. The rake execution executed as expected this time (did not end prematurely with error). So I cannot reproduce the original problem with my current installation, nor (for the time being) I have the means to test with a fresh install to track down the possible origin. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1578547 Title: undefined variable in MiniTest::Unit::Runner::Worker (unit.rb:328) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ruby1.9.1/+bug/1578547/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
