I have upgraded to Xenial and I can no longer reproduce the original
bug. I can only assume it was something in gtk+ this has been fixed in
Xenial. The fact that when it happened the jobs stuck in the queue
unless deleted with the only evidence that anything was amiss being the
lack of print output and a message in the error log that was only
available if debug mode was switched on. Running the xenial printer-
driver-hpcups source on my Wily system still showed showed the bug.

I am happy to run a local patched version on Xenial. So as far as I am
concerned you can either let this bug time out or mark it as invalid. If
anyone wants to raise an SRU it is up to them. That is a learning curve
I do not want to experience.

Thanks for your time.

Roger
