Public bug reported:

Installer version: 446
Kernel: 4.4.0.18
Description/Reproduction: During an installation test I found out, that there
is a problem when trying to install Ubuntu. I tried various constellations,
i.e. VM with DASD, LPAR with SCSI and with DASD. The result is the same.
The installation fails with "Debootstrap warning. Warning: Failure while
configuring base packages. This will be re-attempted up to five times" After
that, the installer says "Unable to install busybox-initramfs. An error was
returned while trying to install the busybox-initramfs package onto the target
system."

I will attach the log files of my various installation attempts.

Hi Luciano, if you mean by "regression", if it has worked before? Then yes.
My guess is that it is not a problem of the installer but a problem of this
package "busybox-initramfs".
