Well foma's main purpose from my point of view - even though its usage will probably become larger over time - is to provide the new Voikko spell-checking stack a possibility to be used, ie Finnish spell- checking. That was the first team that I'm admin of that I could think of that happens to have people who care about it.
I'm the only one with upload rights, but knome (Pasi Lallinaho) also knows how to pull the needed strings as he's constantly working with Xubuntu packages.
