@ Richard Baka: appending intel_idle.max_cstate=1 to the grub cmdline as a workaround is new Info to me. Thanks for that. I am trying that on a fresh 4.4.0-rc6 kernel since yesterday, no crashs so far. This would be great, cause i prefer running a newer Kernel than the old 4.1.12, where the system freeze doesn't occur. I will be hopefully confirming this workaround in a few days here.
