Public bug reported: Simple Backup Suite 0.11.6 Ubuntu 64 bit 14.04
Since a couple of days (since November) sbackup can't send any more mails to a Google smtp server. It comes back with this error message: 553, '5.1.2 The address specified is not a valid RFC-5321 address. qf2sm10264447pbb.3 - gsmtp', 'laptop' Testing the mail setting is positive. Any idea how to fix this. There are many people complaining about this issue with other mail applications. Seems to be a Google change. ** Affects: sbackup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Selection_003.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1513683/+attachment/4513895/+files/Selection_003.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1513683 Title: sbackup fails to send mails too Google smtp server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sbackup/+bug/1513683/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
