No its not the same issue. I think. It worked under gutsy until the gnome bluetooth manager app was added. Now I can see the mouse in that app, it is correctly named, and when I use the mouse, it is connected (little icon goes up, goes out when the mouse goes to sleep) but I can not add it under "input devices", nor does it work as a mouse. The app seems to work ok with my bluetooth PDA.
"sudo hidd --search" doesnt find anything anymore either, it used to detect the mouse until that update. BTW, I don't have a "/etc/default/bluez-utils" directory, I do have "/etc/default/bluetooth" where the same configuration files seem to exist. I don't know if that is relevant. The machine is an Acer Aspire 5920G with integrated bluetooth, the mouse is a logitech travelmate.. Is there anything else I'm supposed to attach or add ? I'm a bit of a noob I'm afraid. -- Bluetooth mouse no longer working as mouse under Gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/143968 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
