I'm seeing the same bug with a fresh install of Ubuntu 15.04 I'm not sure what package is causing the issue since I can't reproduce it under Fedora 21 or Linux Mint 17.1.
I can use the VPN connection sparingly, but it only works for a few seconds and then goes out again.
