I just tried this, and it worked properly for me, as well. However, I
remember having trouble with it, at one point... Perhaps it works for
most shortcut keys, but not others, similar to the way bug 40747 affects
only certain keys ("play (or play/pause)", "pause", "stop playback
key"). I am afraid to try, right now, for fear of bug 40747 (it will
force me to log out, then back in). I'll try later...
