Public bug reported: Binary package hint: amarok
When opening Amarok, it automatically scans the whole home directory for any music files. This includes incomplete bittorrent-files (in the process of being downloaded by Azureus) - which slows the process down tremendously while adding a bunch of tracks that cannot be played in Amarok anyway. While this is probably a bug in the whole Bittorrent thing, I'm reporting it in the Amarok package in the hope of a workaround. I'm on feisty with GNOME btw. ** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Amarok trying to scan/add incomplete files (Azureus) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139926 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
