I can also confirm this problem on my Pavilion dv5230tx (dv5000 series), running feisty 32-bit. It suspends but won't resume (requires complete power off to recover). It did the same on dapper.
Hibernate and resume used to work on dapper, but now it hibernates OK but reboots rather than resuming. uname -a: Linux loki 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Fri Aug 31 00:55:27 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux /proc/version_signature: Ubuntu 2.6.20-16.31-generic lspci output attached. ** Attachment added: "lspci -vvnn" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9293874/lspci-vvnn.log -- Suspend and Hibernate do not work in HP Pavilion dv5000 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/91968 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
