First option (default) on Boot option menu is currently "CD/DVD UEFI MODE" however system will not boot in this mode from live dvd - boot error message "Could Not Open \EFI\BOOT\FALLBACK.EFL:14".
Booting from live DVD and rebooting from this (all in non-UEFI mode) and the touchpad works ok, even on the boot options (try Ubuntu or Install). Rebooting from live to currently installed version causes touchpad to not work again. Have not tried daily live image in UEFI mode as system would appear not to boot in that mode, or does it ned pointing to a different file. Wondering if the file path was in the BIOS I powered the machine back on but failed to hit Esc in time. It went into the Grub menu and then started booting but it paused with a white screen for a long time so I pressed Esc again. It carried on booting and the touchpad worked.
