Hi, After many comments on the Ubuntu forums, I believe that the problem is definetly related to Xorg and the Creator video card.
I haven't removed my card yet, so that the Sun FFB is used, so can't verify this tonight. I think this bug should be assigned to Xorg maintainers, though.
