Any suggestions on how to debug this problem? I have tried using powertop to see the interrupt usage. With no USB devices plugged in, my machine shows about 450 ehci_hcd interrupts per second. When I unload the ehci_hcd module these interrupts stop. This is all with boot parameters "noapic noirqdebug". My machine still won't boot without those parameters.
