Sorry, I have to reopen this. Setting the time zone from system- settings on an n10 does not work, but I can set it from the command line.
root@ubuntu-phablet:~# system-image-cli --info current build number: 221 device name: manta channel: ubuntu-touch/devel-proposed alias: ubuntu-touch/utopic-proposed last update: 2014-09-04 17:14:07 version version: 221 version ubuntu: 20140904 version device: 20140903.1 When I type in "New Y" in the UI, I see "New York City, New York, United States" in the suggestions. Clicking on it turns the letters red and removes the keyboard, but the time zone doesn't actually change, and arrowing back a level still shows UTC+0. However, I can do: root@ubuntu-phablet:~# timedatectl set-timezone US/Eastern and both the timezone via command line and touch ui clock get set correctly. ** Changed in: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1360554 Title: cannot change time zone To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-system-settings/+bug/1360554/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
