Hi Raymond, Thanks for your support ... Hum, this is the first time i've got this error (since i've started to use daily ubuntu), previous releases of ubuntu have no issue of that kind, i've start to use ubuntu on the same audio hardware since 10.10.
Maybe yes for what you ask about : Audigy2.pcm.iec958.0 I've don't know if this is related but i've noticed with ubuntu 14.10, every time you launch audio settings (in the system settings>sound panel), if an other output is selected (exemple : Audigy 2), when you launch the settings menu for audio, it reverts to the sound card on the mainboard ("automatic" deselect Audigy 2, and return on Realtek but no sound until you deselect and reselect audio output : Realtek). I don't know if this is related or due to alsa version. I've noticed this behavior since i've migrate, even after a clean install same issue. Thanks about your work on alsa project ... :) Joe PS : English is not my native language ... sorry -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1329014 Title: [Audigy2 - SB Audigy 2 [SB0240], playback] No sound at all To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1329014/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
