The Osmo errors occurring this desktop system were due to my sharing the files on the .osmo directory with my laptop. Wanted to have notes/calendar available on both systems. The config.xml file was corrupted on my laptop and when starting on the desktop the memory allocation failed because trying to build an invalid size window. See bug 1297872 for more information on the corrupted config.xml file.
