Martin, thanks for providing the -proposed package. I have been running with systemd-shim 6-0ubuntu0.13.10 for four or five business days with multiple suspends and resumes each day and have not had a re-occurrence of either (a) failed to sleep (b) network-manager failed on resume.
Something that might be related to comment #60 by jhfhlkjlj (fdsuufijjejejejej), I did see a funny screen flash shortly after resuming this morning, but it had no consequences for me. I believe I saw these flashes several weeks ago, before trying the version of systemd-shim in your ppa, so I do not believe this is a regression in the -proposed package.
