Hi, I have qemu-i386 crashing on an x86 machine. I did install libc-dbg,
qemu-dbgsym and did gdb session exactly as recommended. (the problem does
happen on my production Feisty machine x86 machine, I reproduced the problem
with Ubuntu Feisty default install + updates until today in VMware, from where
I got the backtrace). Unfortunately even with the debug packages installed, the
backtrace is very uninformative, but the last function called has address
0x00000000, a.k.a. NULL, so maybe it is the same problem as described at bug
#90660, which directs for further details to http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL
PROTECTED]/msg08785.html, where it says that "Basically, it tries to call a
function through a function pointer, but this
pointer is NULL, hence the segfault.". But in that message, the backtrace is
_very_ different.

qemu-i386 crashes _always_ - even when run with no arguments, or with "
--help" argument. Maybe it has something to do with bug #32170?
