I'm attempting to reproduce this with Saucy. I've been unable to hit the bug as of yet. It would be very helpful if anyone that has been affected by this bug test an installation of Saucy. Saucy uses the latest upstream mainline kernel, so we want to see if mainline also has this bug. If it does, it is an easier process to fix it in mainline, then have the fix fed back into upstream stable.
The Saucy release can be downloaded from: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ If we can also confirm this bug is fixed in mainline, that will allow us to perform a reverse bisect to identify what fixed it. That fix can then be sent to upstream stable. ** Tags added: kernel-stable-key -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/798086 Title: Occasional "The disk drive for /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 is not ready yet or not present" on system startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/798086/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
