Also confirming that this still exists in Gutsy Tribe 3.. confirmed on: ThinkPad T42 (IBM A/B/G Atheros / madwifi) Dell Latitude D620 (Intel 3945 ipw3945) Vaio S-series (Intel 2200 ipw2200)
So all of these drivers are just broken, and it totally isn't networkmanager's fault? I never had trouble when I used networkmanager in Arch Linux on my T42 so that's awfully strange. Does Ubuntu patch networkmanager or is it 'pure'? This is a very critical bug since it seems to affect any Atheros and Intel cards (basically anything out there that isn't broadcom) and makes wireless network connections totally unstable. I have to dualboot vista on my D620 just because of this bug.. sometimes I can't sit there and play around restarting crap until maybe I get it to reconnect. -- Wireless network keeps reconnecting (ubuntu edgy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/64173 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
