OK, so the cause is identified and I see a fix is committed. Can anyone
comment on what a course of action could be for someone who just needs
to use their machine? It's been nearly a week since the update that
caused my machine to become unusable. I'm guessing: either an updated
kernel in the regular repository will be coming out in the next few days
or it won't... in which case getting a new kernel from -proposed might
be the right idea. Comments? Thanks -
