Hi, I have to correct what I said in this threads first post: This not only is a Feisty-related problem.
Yesterday it also appeared with a fresh install of Debian Etch. (I was browsing the web [with flash content] and chatting [with gajim], if this is of any interest.) I have an AMD Athlon, but unfortunately I cannot tell whether it uses or even HAS this powernode thingy. I am not at home right now so I cannot tell. This has to wait until the weekend. I hope this is further information you need to fix this. (By the way: I bought a new computer with Intel Core 2 Duo. It never happened with this machine as far as I remember.
