Me too - turned on and off Desktop Effects, then back on again to see difference. Went to close the window but then it crashed out. Intel card. HP Pavilion zt3000 laptop. But the desktop effects are still working. Im still a relative newb and feel if it aint broke dont fix it and if its just a little bit broke let the experts fix it so i hope u dont mind if i do not try to break it again :-p Thanks guys for workin so hard to make a great product. I dont have much money so Ubuntu is a great product and I am very thankful for you folks.
PS - Now note I was using Gutsy Gibbon Tribe 1 - a few days ago, maybe even yesterday, I did a bunch of updates so Im not sure if Im on Tribe 2 or not.
