Hi Joseph. Right - the first one to bisect wil be version 3.8-rc1. The ar5523 driver did not exist in 3.7, and as I said in the first post, the first time I saw it was in 3.8.0-2. According to http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ar5523 it only got support in the mainline kernel at version 3.8, so anything before 3.8 wouldn't have it anyhow. I did however try 3.7, and ndiswrapper still don't dkms build in there, so the 3.8's are where we're gonna have to start the hunt :)
Thanks for keeping up on this. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1113048 Title: ar5523 driver fails to activate device (129B:160C) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1113048/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
