As of 10.04, uswsusp understand UUID format. Following my configuration
file:

root@server1:/etc# cat uswsusp.conf
# /etc/uswsusp.conf(8) -- Configuration file for s2disk/s2both
# Modified by Hans Deragon, 2013/01/08, 03:04 EST
resume device = /dev/disk/by-uuid/91189e0a-28ac-4329-97da-0e8775506ab9
compress = y
early writeout = y
image size = 2879917834
RSA key file = /etc/uswsusp.key
shutdown method = platform

Therefore, I changed the status to 'Fix released' for this bug.

** Changed in: uswsusp (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Fix Released
