Since I am not running a hybrid system, just a stock FM2A75 motherboard
(ASROCK FM2A75 Pro4-M) with Trinity CPU, should I open a different bug
than this one?

Running the compiz --replace made screen flash a few times and this was
output:

# compiz --replace
compiz (core) - Info: Loading plugin: core
compiz (core) - Info: Starting plugin: core
compiz (core) - Error: Another window manager is already running on screen: 0
compiz (core) - Info: Stopping plugin: core
compiz (core) - Info: Unloading plugin: core
