Just wanted to chime in as well that this affects me. New system, running 12.10. MB: FM2A75-Pro 4M On-board Radeon HD7000 graphics (no PCI graphics card installed, using MB's) Graphics controller identified as : 00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Device 9991
