Hi Stefan, Best way to set this up and reproduce is using virtual-box with a clean 12.04 server image installed. Personally at this point I typically do a snapshot or clone so I can easily start over again.
After that you can follow the steps outlined on the devstack page to get things up and running: http://devstack.org/guides/single-vm.html Once openstack is up and running, you can check it's logs by entering 'screen -x'. Now you're ready to try and reproduce the issue. I've uploaded a testing script to my github account: https://github.com/j-griffith/volume-script/tree/master/exercises, check out the README.md for info on where to place the script and how to run it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1023755 Title: Precise kernel locks up while dd to /dev/mapper files > 1Gb (was: Unable to delete volume) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cinder/+bug/1023755/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
