@sam I experience the same behaviour when I put two fingers on the touchpad for a couple of seconds. Another "issue" - this is just a first temporal fix so problems like that could arise - I'm encountering: when I disable the touchpad with fn+f3 shortcut the cursor moves randomly if the touchpad detects more than a finger on it. When I use just a finger the cursor simply doesn't move as expected.
