I have tried all of these already. I also checked the Zorin forum and others
have had the same problem.
http://www.zoringroup.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2156

My question is  I did a search and found all the parts of zramswap. Can
I delete all the parts without hurting my system? I ask because although
new to Linux, years ago I had tried Xandros. It was before package
managers. I remember downloading the tarball, unzipping it and putting
the parts of the program in the folders where a tutorial told me. I am
guessing uninstall would be the same only reverse. I know there is no
registry to worry about.

I have all the output from my terminal on the forum. Right now it is the last
three posts.
My name there is Jymm

As I said, I am  not the only one that has had trouble with this update.
Right now I just want to remove the program and leave it off.

If any of this can be of help to you, or if I can delete the program please let
me know.
Regardless, thank you for your prompt response, it is appreciated.

Jim

Hello Jim, and thank you for your report. Since you are using a
derivative of Ubuntu and by your description of the issue, it would
likely be difficult for us to resolve your problem but I would like to
help if I can.

In a terminal, please type:

  $ apt-cache policy zramswap-enabler

And paste the output of the command to this bug report.

Then, please try:

  $ sudo apt-get remove zramswap-enabler

And again, paste the output here.

Good luck! And thanks again for your report.

Title:
zramswap-enabler failed to update arch hive not found, now cannot
  update anything, package manager broken

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I am using Zorin  5.2 core, an Ubuntu Derivative. Zramswap-eanbler
tried to update and froze my update. I tried to un-install the program
with Ubuntu update center but cannot. I tried in the terminal but
cannot as the "arch hive is missing" The Synaptic program manager
crashes when I try to do anything. I was able to find the website for
zramswap-enabler but have an error that a newer version is installed
so can not re-install the newer version. I am very new to Linux and
not sure what to do now, other than re-install my OS, which I really
hate to do. I was able to get the program with sudo apt-get but sudo
  install freezes.

I am not sure if this is a bug, as I said, I am new to Linux
