Very good decision to include Sun's JRE. Hopefully the next generation "Consumer JRE" which Sun promises to provide rather soon for windows will be available for (K)Ubuntu too, but even if not, it will still be a BIG improvement to include the last version of Sun's JRE instead of the GNU one (the difference between GNU's last version (1.4) and Sun's (1.6) is huge in both performance and functionality, IMHO that's one of (many but important) reasons why people adopt python and perl on Linux rather than Java ).
