I tried that, but it will not link my movies to events based on the creation date that way. I'm quite sure the shotwell version in oneiric did that correctly.
For me this application seems of no use any more. Such a pity. It was ideal! I can't see how many many users are not affected by this. Will see if i can find a source for an old versoin usable for precise, but this is taking too much time and tinkering.
