Update to my last post: it wasn't cut off 100 pixels from the left, it was actually positioned 100 pixels from the left of the screen. I went into the preferences and centered it horizontally, and now it is fine. Because the width is set to 100%, it also stayed in the same position when I unchecked the box to center it horizontally.
