I just wanted to add that in Ubuntu 11.10 / Tilda 0.9.6, disabling the
animation fixed the problem. Since I read Roland Hieber's comment above,
I haven't had it go blank on me once. However, I have the width set to
100%, and it now stops about 100 pixels short of the left of the screen.
It's not the most attractive thing with the lack of animation and the
incorrect width, but at least it works.
