See my last comment in the bug. This is a serious bug that causes end users to 
have to physcially restart the machine before they can use their computer again.

  for note I am a relative NOOBy  Bug Description:  Could not create ICE
  listening socket Could not create ICE listening socket: Cannot
  establish any listening sockets. Sometimes it's followed by this
  message: IceListenForConnections did not return a local listener!  Its
  sporadic, it does not happen every boot and I only get the a message
  after signing in, on login.  no joy finding a solution or explanation.
