I have marked this bug as "also affects me", because of the cited annoyances in Unity. Therefore, I have been receiving notifications of the comments here. And man, it's been truly painful to watch the "get the hell out leave my vision alone" atitude from Mark, hence people here are not asking for "change", but rather for "options". That's really really really sad. =(
