Oh mine!
I uninstalled Ubuntu and installed Arch Linux, and everything worked. However, 
after reading the last comment I tried to boot a the live USB again and it's 
working :(. I think it was an intermittent hardware problem also... a problem 
that coincidently only appeared when Ubuntu was running. I'm sorry guys :(. 
Maybe it was a corrupt install, but I doubt because I tested it with a lot of 
different packages versions.

I'm changing the status of this bug.
