Aaaaaand here's the results after I put the laptop into suspend and then
resumed, hence sound works.

Disclaimer: The first test was run logged in as GNOME Shell, the second
test as Unity. I couldn't get GNOME Shell to suspend properly to run the
alsa-info a second time, but Unity worked fine. Hopefully this doesn't
affect the sound (it shouldn't).
