This is the 2nd time no icons (e.g., time and date) shown on the top panel. I didn't do anything special when the error occurred, I think. Ubuntu may want to give a stronger warning when users want to upgrade to such an very unstable beta release (I have almost reported 10+ bugs after upgrading).
