This particular crash is harmless, although it's a symptom of something
else going wrong.  The code which invokes check_gl_texture_size fully
expects it to crash sometimes, and handles it.  Once apport is turned
off the only way you'll notice this crash is a SIGSEGV message in dmesg.

Of course, until the underlying problem which triggers this (which would
be associated with bug 863054) is fixed, you'll still have the other
symptoms caused by that.
