Hi again Arne, thanks for posting back! The reinstall will actually work quickly as you now have this package in your local apt cache. All signs are that this was the result of a network problem that interrupted the download. It was a good idea to use apt-get install directly to get the package and I'm glad that worked (though I suspect that it would have worked in Software Center for your second try).
The good news is that you got the game that you paid for! I hope you enjoy. :) Oh, and btw we are working on making the reporting of issues and problems much easier to do for these purchased apps. I would expect that this process will be much more straightforward by the time Oneiric ships. If you don't mind, I will set the bug to invalid since it appears to have been a legitimate network issue. If you have any other issues, please don't hesitate to reopen this or open a new bug. And thanks very much for your help! ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/803363 Title: Bought software fails to install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/803363/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
