Hello Gary, thank you very much for your quick response. I was able to get this resolved by myself by installing the packages "steelstorm-episode2" and "steelstorm-episode2-data" by hand with "apt-get install" from the commandline. After some glitches, this worked ( the first time one of the packages had a size missmatch, the second time worked though ). I am sorry I do not remember if apt-get warned me about the untrusted source but it may very well have.
A network glitch during the software-center install is likely since I did not look for the package size and installed while on a not-so-stable UMTS connection. However I had another package in the install queue while waiting for the steelstorm installation ( libsdl1.2-dev ) which installed just fine. Now the software-center only offers me to uninstall the package - I will do that now and try to reinstall the package and let you know the result. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/803363 Title: Bought software fails to install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/803363/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
