Is the Ubuntu lirc initscript restarting lircd on resume? Or is this a udev rule running? Gotta be one of those two, since otherwise, I don't know what would be triggering the call to show_protocols. You included the trace for your wireless doing something bad, but omitted the bulk of the trace for the actual oops. Can I get the full oops trace please?
