Nearly out of ideas. Can you please record a program and try to play it back in xine-ui (xine)? If it works then I'm really out of ideas because that is what the Me TV player is using, in this case can you make that recorded file available for me to download.
If it does not work then try a different player, vlc or mplayer to see if that works. Really just trying to isolate where the problem is. The way I see it, it could be: 1. In the audio stream detector (Checked, because you have menu items) 2. In the stream that that Me TV produces. 3. In the xine-lib engine or the way Me TV has implemented the player. 4. In the xine configuration 5.
